In light of news that there are currently 13 confirmed cases of COVID-19 on Haida Gwaii, we are issuing the following reminder to Prince Rupert residents to remain vigilant in following Provincial health recommendations and orders to prevent further spread of COVID-19.
RESOLUTION TO EXCLUDE THE PUBLIC THAT Council hereby declares that the meeting held at 5:00 p.m. on July 20, 2020 is to be closed to the public and that the basis of this closure is that the item(s) on the agenda of this meeting comply with the following closed meeting criteria specified in Section 90 of the Community Charter:
90.1 (c) labour relations or other employee relations; and, (e) the acquisition, disposition or expropriation of land or improvements, if the council considers that such disclosure could reasonably be expected to harm the interests of the municipality.
Notice is hereby given that a COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE COUNCIL MEETING will be held on July 20, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of City Hall, 424 – 3 rd Avenue West, Prince Rupert, B.C.
The Committee of the Whole is proceeding in an adjusted format to abide by Ministerial orders and physical distancing guidelines. Those wishing to ask a question of Council are invited to do so in the following manner:
